I was recently introduced to the Innisfree Korean brand.  This brand is one of Korean natural brands.  It claims to use more natural ingredients.  And I’m always interested in trying new items.  I was given this Innisfree It’s real squeeze Mask – Rice.

This is the first creamy texture mask I’ve tried.

***What I like about this mask….

I like how there’s English instructions on the package.  The mask was large enough that it covers my whole face.  It has a lot of essence in it that the mask didn’t dry up at the end.  It has a very nice fragrance to it.  The mask was thicker than I liked it to be but it didn’t bother me while using it.

***Things I dislike….

This is just from my experience only…might be different for others…but this mask broke me out.  I had bumps all over my face after using it the next day.  I have combination skin so this mask might not have been right for my skin type.  Also my face felt sticky after using this product and it felt a little uncomfortable that also made me want to go wash the product off the face.  Also a quick note I didn’t see what skin type this mask is for on their website.  So before purchasing an item you might want to do a little research elsewhere to make sure the item you are buying is suitable for your skin type.  I didn’t check and that probably what made me break out.

Well this is what I think about this particular mask.  This is not going to stop me from trying other items from this brand.  I’m sure not every product would give me the same reaction.  There’s tons of reviews online were people love this mask.  I will try more and let you know how it turns out.  :)

Information from their website:

What it is

[Real source face mask made with fresh rice ingredients for moist skin!]

1. Jeju green complex containing green tea, persimmon, cactus, camellia leaf, and orchid

2. A triple layer sheet for a complete adherence and a long-lasting effect

3. Clinical test completed: Skin moisture level increased by 125% after using the product

What else you need to know

Women have long been using rice water to wash their faces for clear and bright skin. The components in rice smoothes and brightens rough and dull skin.

How to use

1. After face wash, even out the skin texture with a toner.

2. Take out the mask and tightly place the mask onto the face, avoiding the eye and lip areas.

3. After 10~20 minutes, remove the sheet from the face and gently pat your face to let the remaining gel absorb into the skin.

Thanks for stopping by.  Let me know how you feel about this item.  And come back soon and see what other items I’ll be trying out.  :)

Garnier Ultra-Lift Miracle Sleeping Cream (anti-age + fatigue Night Cream) – Mini Review

Not nail related but I still wanted to share anyways.

I have a bunch of samples piling up and I really should start using them before they all go bad. So my first sample used is this Garnier Ultra-Lift Miracle Sleeping Cream.

It suppose to help you these problems: Lack of sleep and everyday stress shows on your face making you look older and fatigued. Skin’s appearance lacks radiance and resilience resulting in a tired, dull complexion with more wrinkles.

This product suppose to help with anti age, anti fatigue, which also hydrates and moisturizes.  This anti-aging formula helps reduces signs of dull, dry and tired looking skin. Infused with Lavender Essential Oil, Rare Plant Extracts & Adenosine, it absorbs fast and works nightly boosting cell renewal to regenerate skin¿s surface layer, helping to repair skin¿s moisture barrier and reduce wrinkles. It firm to make you look younger and well rested.

You probably need a couple of weeks to test to see results but I only had enough for two nights.  So I don’t have a full review for you.  But from the two days of using I can tell you this…(and also FYI I have combination skin)  This was a thick cream and a little goes a long way.  I guess that explains why I got two uses in that small sample.  I used this cream after I cleansed and tone my face.  I applied cream the sleeping cream over my face and neck.

First thing I noticed is I didn’t really like the smell of the cream.  At first it has a slight floral scent but after it’s all your face I felt that smell changed to a plastic kinda smell.  I did not like it.  That smell doesn’t linger though.  In the morning I do feel like my face is hydrated and smooth.

This is an affordable product.  And can be found in your local stores.  But since I didn’t really like the thickness and smell I might not purchase this item.  But again, I’m basing my decision no just two uses.  Anyone else had tried this?  What’s your thoughts?  Let me know!

Kocostar 5 finger Nail Pack Review

We’ve been having extremely cold and dry weather lately this winter. So I thought what good time to use this nail pack that I’ve received in my Memebox Global #14 box.

The Kocostar items in this Memebox came with four different items.
#1. Hair Pack (gave to my sister to try)
#2. Face Spot Mirror Patch (a fail…this product did nothing for me)
#3. 5 finger Nail Pack (what I’m reviewing today)
#4. Foot Peeling Pack (which works and I’m tempted to buy more to prep my feet for sandal seasons)

Ok let’s begin with the 5 Finger Nail Pack. It comes with a total of 10 nail covers or packs. So I’m not sure why they advertise it as 5 Finger Nail Pack 3each.

This product claims to moisturize, protect, and add more gloss and elasticity to your nails.

So first wash and use pack with cleansed hands. You would wear the finger packs over your fingers for 30-60 minutes. And each nail pack comes in different size according to your fingers.

So what I like….
-It didn’t moisturize my skin and nail area.

-If you have fat fingers like mean some of the nail pack slips off easily.
-I found it uncomfortable wearing these things on my fingers for such a long time. I couldn’t do much with them on besides sitting down and watching tv.

Would I buy? Probably not. There are hand creams and cuticle creams out there that does the same job. Those products are simpler to use, easier to find and purchase. Anyone out there tried this product? Let me know what are your thoughts!

My first Memebox! Memebox Global #14

I’ve always been interested and used Asian beauty products. And I’ve came upon this monthly box subscription and I wanted to give it a try. Unlike other subscription boxes, this one let you buy as many boxes you want. You don’t have to buy them every month. And you don’t have to call in to cancel it.

There’s a bunch of different boxes they provide. Their is their global box which I’ve chosen to purchase, their lucky boxes, nail boxes, special boxes, and etc. Each one provide different types of products. And I believe their global might be a little bit of everything? I really don’t know actually.

So I decided to purchase a bundle box. Box #14-16. I’ve picked this bundle because I didn’t want to shipping. I made this purchase a few months ago and it finally arrived. Box #14.

It came nicely packaged in pink bubble wrap and inside a pink box. Very cute. Just love their packaging. Once I open it there’s a product list that sits on top and all the products sitting underneath it.

Box #14 comes with a total of 8 products. All of these are full size products except for one.

First one in this box is the shower mate. There were two Perfume de Whip Body Wash 50ml. This item cost $4. The two scents that was given to me were pure white blossom and Marilyn red fantasy.

Next I got 4 face sheet masks. This is something I’m excited about because I use sheet masks regularly. This is the Sally’s box collection. It comes with love recipe apple mask, a Delight ceramide hydrogel mask, a delight collagen hydrogel mask, and a delight panthenol hydrogel mask. These of course are all full size products and they cost $14. For those who don’t know how to use these mask…first you cleanse face, tone it, and than you apply sheet mask over your face for 15-20 minutes and removal and pat in the remaining essence. And these packaging to these masks are just soo cute. Love them. Hope they work we’ll because I never purchase mask at this price before.

Next item is the Beauty People Miss 100 super waterproof gel liner auto pencil. This product comes in different colors. The one that came in my box is glimmer coral. This markets for $38. Kinda of pricy huh? I don’t think I ever purchase liner this expensive before.

Next item is the VOV Good-Bye black smudge waterproof mascara. It’s another full size product that makers for $19. There was three types and they had picked lash proof mascara for me.

The fifth items are the Kocostar 4 package sets. I got the Ggongi hair pack, the face spot mirror patch, the 5 finger nail pack, and the foot peeling pack. These all value at $20.

The sixth item is the Sua Young Mineral Essence in Liquid foundation with SPF 33 PA+++. The full product size is 30g for $34. This is the only sample size I’ve gotten in this box. It’s only 5g. I’m not sure what shade this foundation comes in but it seems kinda light for me.

The seventh item is the largest and most expensive in this box. It’s the Recipe By Nature Golden Time Vita Capsule Essence. This full size product is 40ml for $42.

The last product in this box is the a:t fox Fantasy Holic Lip & Cheek Designer Pencil. Again this product comes in different shades and the one they picked out for me is Rose Beige. This product market for $7.

So this month it’s going to be a lot of playing around with these products. Hopefully I do end up using these products and liking them. I hate being wasteful.

So in paid $25 for this box and I calculated this box value around $141. A great deal right? I need to check other sites like sasa to see if these product really sell for these prices or not. Well I can’t wait to see what is in my next box.

Once I start using these items I will give a review and let you all know what I feel about them.

So anyone else tired these products? Or ordered these Memeboxes? Let me know what you think of them. :)

I almost brought more lip balm today. As you know I fell in love with my Strawberry Sorbet EOS (Evolution of Smooth) lip balm… And when I saw these new (I think they are new) flavors I got so excited.

I found this set at a Target. For $7.99. This makes them under $2.70 each. This is a great price. Usually they are around $3-$5 each. The three are Blueberry Potion, Watermelon Wonderland, and Sweet Vanilla Nonsense.

The EOS lip balms are all natural, 95% organic, paraben-free, has Shea butter, and Jojoba oil. All good stuff. Who wouldn’t want one of these?
Great gift set for the upcoming holidays. Maybe next time I’ll stop by Target and I’ll grab a set.
Anyone out there tried these EOS flavors yet? How you guys like them? Let me know. :)
