Flip flop season is here. I’ve been coloring my toes but the last couple times I didn’t take pictures to post. I just don’t like how my fat toes look. hehe. Well if I don’t post this time than I really have another else to post so what the heck.
I’ve used this color polishes below in the past. The only new thing I’m showing here is the plate image. Again, the stamping polish is kinda light but it does look nice in the sun light. It makes my pedicure very shimmery.
Sally Hansen “Back to the Fuchsia” #530 was used for the base color and Wet n Wild - 236C Silvivor was used for the stamping color. The image plate used here is the Bundle Monster (1st Set) plate BM19.
Thanks for coming back to view this site. I will hopefully post more soon.

I’m feeling very patriotic this year. So why not do an Independence Day mani. For the base color I used Posh/Mat (Zoya). To my surprise I couldn’t find much reds in my collection. Maybe I had lent them all out…
Well, love this Mat color. Application was very smooth. And since I was planning to use some stamps I only applied one coat here.

Second step, I wanted to add some blue. I purchased a bottle of Lagoon (SinfulColors – Nail Art Polish). It was $1.99 at Walgreens. It’s my first time using these kind of polishes. They come with very thin/fine brushes so you can paint designs on your nails. Since I don’t have steady hands I wasn’t able to draw anything too fancy. Also no nail looked the same. Oh well…

Third step…I used a image from the BM21 Plate (from the Bundle Monster 1st Set). And since I have red and blue already I used the Konad White special nail polish. I picked the star image here below.

And to finish it off I used the Sally Hansen Salon Clear Coat (Clear’d for takeoff).

So what do you think? Sorry I was too lazy to clean things off. Any some of my pictures are dark and blurry. I have a new camera coming so hopefully I’ll be able to take better pictures.

Happy 4th Everyone! Have fun and be safe!

I’ve been trying to find a stamping polish to use with my Konad and Monster bundle nail plates. Instead of buying the Konad special polishes…I want to find something I can easily pick up at my local drugstore or malls. I’ve noticed other bloggers out there also use other brands but unfortunately I haven’t had luck finding the brands they purchased.
So this week I picked up this silver glitter polish (Wet n Wild - 236C Silvivor). It looked very thick and I thought I might work with my plates. Tried it but again it didn’t show up that well. This bottle cost me $1.99 at Walgreens.
Also lately I’ve noticed a lot of new Crackle polishes out there. They seem so cool so I got to give that a try too. I purchased the OPI – Black Shatter for $9.50 at Ultra Beauty. I have to say…this polish works great. If you’re to lazy to use the stamping plates but still want to have some design this is the perfect way to go. It’s fast and easy.
I’ve posted some pictures…Hope you like them.
These are all the polishes I used on my nails
Sally Hansen “Back to the Fuchsia” #530 used base color and Wet n Wild - 236C Silvivor used for the stamping color. As you can see…the polish isn’t thick or dark enough so the stamping image is very light…But still pretty.
Wet n Wild - 236C Silvivor used here. Two coats used. Application is very smooth. Color is very silver and glittery. Very nice!!
Wet n Wild - 236C Silvivor used as the base color and than OPI – Black Shatter used on top. Isn’t the crackle effect cute! Very easy application on both. After nail dried I did put a clear top coat because I was afraid the black polish might chip off easily.
Four different polishes and you can do so much with all of it. So pretty and so much fun! Hope you enjoy this post.

I have been lazy and haven’t used stamps in a while. I had a purple shirt so I decided to use a purple polish to match. I used the Sephora by OPI in Domestic Goddess. It was a little messy because the full nail plates are not big enough so I have to stamp multiple times to fill up the empty spaces. I still don’t know why they can’t make the images larger. There is room on the plate.

This one was from the ’10 holiday season. I’ve used it several times but haven’t had a chance to take pictures for the post. This is Sephora by OPI “Looks Like Rain, Dear” (don’t you like the puns?). Its a gold nail polish with very fine gold glitter and also has larger flakes that reflects all colors as you can see pictured in the bottle below. Most glitter nail polishes are mostly clear with just a little glitter, but this one is packed with glitter and has full coverage. With just two coats, you get a solid gold color, not a few specks of randomly scattered pieces of glitter. It reminds me of a glitter Christmas ornament. The only thing I don’t really like about it is that the finish is rough, as you get with glitter polishes, but a top coat helps fix that a bit. All in all, its a great fun polish.

Finally tried the Del Sol polish I received as a souvenier gift. Del Sol sells items that change color in the sun. The polish color is called Superhero. It is a light baby or sky blue with a pearl finish. And when in the sun, it changes to a light shade of purple. This is very good quality polish. Usually I get a chip the next day. It’s been 3 days and still looks good. I did not use any base or top coat. Here are some pics I took today.

It’s been a while since I have stamped my nails. I just got a new polish so I thought I’d try it out. The polish is china glaze in Avalanche. Its a shiny gray with a hint of purple. I used black polish for the stripes on the BM20 plate and Poshe for a top coat. The image is too small for my nails so it doesn’t fill the entire nail. You can’t really notice it on the smaller nails. I tried to center it. But on my thumb I had to stamp multiple times and line up the images which I always have a hard time with.

Another simple nail air. A french manicure with random white flowers. These pictures were taken a couple days after I applied the poslish. As you can see…some areas are chipping. Also, sorry for the crusty looking cuticles.
What I used:
- Sally Hansen Diamond Strength Nail Hardener for a Basecoat 1 coat
- Zoya polish (color – Loretta) 2 coat
- Konad white polish with Fauxnad plate #BM02
- Poshe for a topcoat 1 coat
