Stripes.

It’s been a while since I have stamped my nails.  I just got a new polish so I thought I’d try it out.  The polish is china glaze in Avalanche.  Its a shiny gray with a hint of purple.  I used black polish for the stripes on the BM20 plate and Poshe for a top coat.  The image is too small for my nails so it doesn’t fill the entire nail.  You can’t really notice it on the smaller nails.  I tried to center it.  But on my thumb I had to stamp multiple times and line up the images which I always have a  hard time with.

Another simple nail air.  A french manicure with random white flowers.  These pictures were taken a couple days after I applied the poslish.  As you can see…some areas are chipping.  Also, sorry for the crusty looking cuticles.

What I used:

  1. Sally Hansen Diamond Strength Nail Hardener for a Basecoat 1 coat
  2. Zoya polish (color – Loretta) 2 coat
  3. Konad white polish with Fauxnad plate #BM02
  4. Poshe for a topcoat 1 coat

I did my nails with a nice summer color.  This is the first time I used this image on the m74 konad plate.  Since this image looks like two separate ones, I only used the top half you see here.

This is what I used:
Revlon Tropical Temptation nail polish
m74 plate
white konad nail polish
Poshe top coat

I agree with the previous post that the images for the full nail stamps are too small.  Even the Konad plates don’t go completely accross some of my nails?  Anyone have any suggestions on what to do when it doesn’t fit the whole nail?

Wanted to try my new polish and my new Fauxnad Plates.

What I used:

  1. A Salley Hansen clear basecoat. 1 coat
  2. Wet N Wild “Cozumel” #3453  2 coats
  3. Konad white polish with plates BM11 (I think…it was random lines with random small hearts)
  4. Poshe’ was used for a topcoat.  1 coat.

The Wet N Wild polish cost me only $1.99.  I love the color and I love how it was so shimmery.  The polish goes on very smoothly too.  One thing I didn’t like was it didn’t last that long.  It begun to chip on the third day.  I’m not sure if it’s the polish or if I didn’t apply the topcoat well enough.

Also the full size image on the plate was on the small side.  On some of my nails I actually had to stamp twice.  More work I guess but it still works.

It was a fun color to wear.  And a cute nail design.  I was thinking of using this color again with the Konad leapord print with black polish.  What do you guys think?  I think I should have that plate.

Very pink nails!

First manicure with my new Fauxnad Plates.

What I used:

  1. A Salley Hansen clear basecoat.
  2. Salley Hansen “Back to the Fuchsia” #530 (The Complete Salon Manicure collection) 2 coats
  3. Konad white polish with plates BM10 (small flowers)
  4. Poshe’ was used for a topcoat.  1 coat.

Sorry I didn’t clean up before taking these pictures.  I love the pink.  The flowers were cute too.  Another thing I love is the brush they use in the Complete Salon Manicure collection.  It’s a short soft rounded brush that makes applying nail polish quick and easy.

Here’s my other sis’s manicure.  She didn’t clean it up afterwards so it’s kind of messy.  It’s still cute though.  Again I helped with the Konad images.

Below my sis used:

  • Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear – color is In the Spotlight Shine (I think that’s the name of the color.  Or it could be Celeb City Frost.  All I can tell you that it’s a very shimmery sliver polish color.  Hey sis, if you ready this please let us know what color was uesd)  2 coats.
  • Konad pink, blue, and purple polish with plate m60 (the Daisy designs)
  • Poshe’ was used for a topcoat.  1 coat.
  • It took longer than usual since there’s three Konad polishes used.  But it was fun.  Can’t wait till the next time…more Konading!

It was my sis Erica’s birthday last weekend.  We all hung out…had cake…and did nails!  My sisters painted their nails while I helped stamp the Konad images.

    Below my sis used:

  • Maybelline express finish  – color is Purple Punk (My sis got this years ago.  They probably don’t have this color anymore)
  • Konad white polish with plate m56 (the floral ribbon design)
  • Poshe’ topcoat (I love this stuff.  It’s a fast drying top coat.  I’ll never have bumpy scratched up nails again!  Hehe, yeah…I usually fall asleep after I do my nails.  Well this stuff is highly recommended.  If I remember correctly this bottle cost around $9 bucks)
  • Isn’t it pretty?  I will post my other sis design tomorrow.  So make sure you guys all come back and check it out! ;)

It’s been a while…Not only do I not have time to update this site but I don’t have time to do my nails now a days.  I was able to squeeze in sometime today and to do something simple.  Stars with glitter.  Hope you guys like it.

This time I used the Sally Hansen line.

    1. Sally Hansen Maximum Growth for a basecoat
    2. Sally Hansen Diamond Strength No Chip color “Diamonds” for the glitter/color
    3. Konad white polish with plate m11 (the star design)
    4. And Poshe for a topcoat (I LOVE this stuff.  Use this on wet polish and it dries your nails in seconds.  It dries manicures completely in 5 minutes.  I never have to worry about falling asleep in bed and waking up with messed my nails anymore.  I highly recommend it.)

Here’s another new article I found on nails.  Nail colors from Fashion Week.  Who’s interested in mixing their own colors?  http://www.self.com/beauty/blogs/beyondthebeautypages/2010/02/shades-of-greige-five-perfect.html
